Chorwad is a little village having beautiful beach located about 66 kms. from Junagadh and 23 kms from veraval. Chorwad is ideal for weekend and family picnics.
Chorwad beach is best place to live in the timeless splendour of a palace built by the former Nawabs of Junagadh. It is away from bazaars, crowds. The Beach is prefect for long walks. Sea here is not always calm but the pleasant climate invites a host of tourists every year.
It is the best place to view rocky shores, boat rides and the colorful fishing villages. There is a resort which was previously a palace built by Nawab Saheb Mohabbat Khan as a vacation spot for the hot summer days where he held weddings of his dogs, royal banquets and processions amidst cool breezes from the sea. Porbandar and Somnath is also near to Chorwad.
